Ingredients
- 300 g basmati rice, washed, soaked in water for 1 hour, drained
- 200 g green peas (mattar)
- 30 g ghee
- 2 g cumin (jeera) seeds
- 120 g onions, finely sliced
- 2 g garam masala
- 120 g onions, sliced, fried golden brown
- salt to taste
Instructions
1. Heat the ghee in a wok (kadhai); add the cumin seeds. When they crackle, add the onions and saute until golden. Add the garam masala, stir and add the rice. Saute for 2 minutes, until the rice is well coated with ghee,
